  3. Love it Dave, I take it that grimmace was the same one you were wearing when on the saddle too?

  4. C'mon smarty - it's the next step up from riding the track! The shot was taken at the transition area - a lap or two from the finish, and the only time I actually pitted there as apposed to our camp (which was miles away). Ben and Craig were waiting with a chair - maintaining the same back curvature i sat down gingerly - must have looked quite a site judging by the quizzicle expression of onlookers. Craig ran off with the Stump to give it a blast with a high pressure hose (the main objective for pitting here i think). Ben worked on my neck and i just ate whatever he passed me - in this instance a rice pud GK had left in the fridge some weeks before. The grimace was courtesy of Ben's fingers in my neck rather than my desire to eat the spoon or burn holes in my oponents, although it was probably a fair reflection on the distress by backside was feeling.

  5. I'll make sure I listen when you tell me to "harden the **** up" from now on!

Funny to think that the bloke in the photo followed up with a 24 hr competitive birdwatching event two weeks later...

Langles, still yet to master track, but when that is achieved, we'll see.
