Wombat Cycle Emporium


Ist cab off the rank;
Mix of new Ultegra, 105 and Dura-ace wheels.
Weight approx 8050 g (sans saddlebag and cage) with Conti wire bead tyres (290g ea). Shod with something racier we should come under 8.
Decals to come.

    Took it for its first outing this morning - it's beautiful! So good that I think he's worried I'm going to start beating him up the hills - hence the addition of the 290g tyres. Beats being pushed off again I guess...

  4. Excellent work Anita. Dave is always concerned about protection so prefers thick & sterdy rubbers even if you lose a little bit of the feel and sensation they are less likey to fail when needed most.

  7. Very nice Dr Dave, I have bike envy, liking those wheels in particular. Congratulations Anita, that's such a nice bike it might lead one to speculate you took a dive in order to get the upgrade. Surely its got to be called the ristretto? Short, dark and perfectly formed.
